here is what we did that day:
left the hotel and immediately crashed a wedding, strolled through little india looking for a bus station (we saw a tourist tour bus the day before – yes, of course we’re old and lazy!) took a random bus somewhere and walked back; found a temple, three byciclettes, a kindergarten (!!) a pool and dutch houses with outdoor-stairs; bus-ride to the raffles hotel – this is where they invented the famous singapore sling! – and please: check out this vegetation; finally found that tourist bus – this is where the building pics start ;-) singapore-flyer, sir norman fosters ufo – singapore’s high court; suntec center – a crazy shopping mall with a much crazier food court, really stylish; the fountain of wealth – going down; ah, then we identified the formula one track – or at least two curves (“schikane”); the esplanade mall is cool – it adjusts its weird pieces on the outside to the sun; and then the big afternoon rain hit us – big times!; we drove by singapore botanic gardens and some expensive hood, the orchard road – the shopping mile; and at night: little india again, but this time like i/we imagine india – sooo many people; sooo much noise, sooo many people; even the cars had to give up at least one lane on each side of the street if not the whole street – whoa!
